The Exchange is expanding capacity for programming to reach more GSI members and non members. There will be new programming for what GSI practitioners need and where they are at in their GSI implementation (i.e., early adopters and established GSI). We are doing this by seeking a new part-time Education Coordinator to work directly with the Education Manager. The Education Coordinator will support the implementation of the Educational Resources and Needs (ERN) Survey that over 150 GSI practitioners completed. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey!
The Education Coordinator will facilitate round tables with experienced practitioners on key topics that surfaced from the survey. From these round tables, Learning Circles and training will be developed for both members to deliver and attend, which continues the peer learning model that is foundational to the Exchange’s way of learning. The Exchange will also host webinars that members and non members can attend to support the wider network of GSI professionals. The Education Manager and Education Coordinator will work closely together on additional programming to support Exchange members.
