Welcome Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy!

May 19, 2026 | Leaders, Members

We’re excited to welcome the Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy to the Exchange community! As Executive Director, Daniel Millikin is leading efforts that blend prairie restoration, water quality research, and conservation partnerships. One recent project has focused on demonstrating how gently sloped prairie banks can improve water quality outcomes, advancing the conversation around effective green stormwater infrastructure practices. Their work is carried out in close collaboration with the Harris County Flood Control District, serving both as conservation partners and land stewards. Looking ahead, Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy is especially excited about a new initiative to rescue and maintain a 20-acre prairie that is home to several threatened plant species. Through the Exchange, they hope to connect with other parks and organizations pursuing similar sustainability and restoration work. Join the Exchange community and be part of the collaboration shaping more resilient landscapes and waterways.
