Welcome City of Lancaster, PA!

The Exchange is delighted to welcome Molly Deger, Deputy Director of Sustainability and Environment for the City of Lancaster, PA. Molly’s experience spans both public and private sectors, with seven years experience at a women-owned engineering company. GSI implementation in Lancaster began in 2011, and under Molly’s guidance, the CAP and resiliency team continues to grow. As she oversees water resource engineers and maintenance staff, she is looking for resources on financing projects, grant administration, construction details, and product access to improve and expand current efforts. In 2019, Lancaster adapted a Climate Action Plan (CAP), playing a key role in shaping the city’s approach to sustainability. Her work with the department of neighborhood engagement helps advance important initiatives and promotes collaboration with the community.

Molly learned about the Exchange from the engineering consultants at Jacobs, but is eager to connect with other public sectors. She seeks to share resources and engage with others to learn from their experiences. Please join us in welcoming Molly Deger and supporting her efforts to enhance sustainability and environmental initiatives in Lancaster, PA!
