We’re thrilled to welcome Lotus Water to the Green Infrastructure Leadership Exchange! Led by Principal and seasoned water resources engineer, Scott Durbin, Lotus brings deep expertise in stormwater planning and green infrastructure implementation. With a strong focus on treating stormwater as a resource, they specialize in evaluating water quality and flood resilience benefits through watershed and city-scale capital planning. Their work spans the West Coast, with notable projects in the Bay Area, Seattle, and King County. Currently, they’re partnering with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) and the San Francisco Unified School District to implement GI retrofits at dozens of school sites—combining infrastructure improvements with student engagement and community education.
Lotus is joining the Exchange to collaborate with peers and refine best practices for implementing GI at scale in ways that deliver broad community and environmental benefits. They’re particularly excited about advancing large-scale, nature-based solutions in urban waterfronts—projects that address water quality, climate resilience, and equity all at once. We’re excited to learn from their experience and support their continued leadership in making GI a catalyst for climate-ready communities.
