Herrera, a mission-driven, 100% employee-owned environmental science and engineering firm rooted in the Pacific Northwest, is a interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects dedicated to advancing green infrastructure and water resource management across the West Coast. Dylan Ahearn is excited about the recent identification of 6PPD-q, the chemical responsible for coho salmon mortality, a breakthrough that could reshape water treatment efforts to protect this keystone species. Principal Engineer, Colleen Mitchell, emphasizes the importance of tailoring GI solutions to specific watersheds and optimizing performance through smart technology.
